Since our inception, Great Lakes Line Builders has been able to establish a phenomenal safety record.  Great Lakes Line Builders’ current EMR is .7, which simply means we are 30% better then the average contractor available.

 

Great Lakes Line Builders has put great emphasis on training and building a safety culture.  A full time safety department and superintendent/management support keeps safety at the forefront of our worker’s efforts.  Our jobsites are regularly visited by safety/management personnel.  Daily tailgates are performed and documented.  Weekly safety topics are discussed and documented.

 

Great Lakes Line Builders also recognizes the importance of our environment.  We enter and leave our sites with one goal, to restore the project area to pre-construction conditions if not better than when we arrived.  Our workers receive environmental compliance training that educates them on potential hazards and how to address them if encountered.
